VISIONEntrepreneurial setting providing healthcare services to hospitals. CEO is a doctor and grew business from concept to over $3M in revenues quickly concentrating on Massachusetts markets. In Q2 of 2019, CEO secured a master contract that allows expansion across USA. Revenue goals for 2021 are in the $25-40M range……looking for a Type A leader with a hands-on, can-do attitude.

 

OPPORTUNITYCEO will key on revenues, geographical expansion, and hiring personnel. CFO/COO will be the business partner concentrating on infrastructure build out. Team is small to start so role requires establishing controls, processes, policies, systems, and practices in the beginning and then leveraging all internal functions going forward. Here is an overview of responsibilities and opportunities to contribute:

 

Accounting: Everything from journal entries through month end close. Three biggest issues will be billing, payroll, and collections. Will establish new P/Ls as business expands. Will be liaison with external auditors on tax related compliance. Use Quickbooks to start and upgrade in future.

 

Budgeting-FP&A: Develop a more formal budget and short term forecasting; analyze expenses and revenues trends; review profitability of key accounts

 

Compliance: Ensure accuracy of financial data….will get audited by different states and healthcare organizations….want to make sure everything is buttoned up

 

Business Analytics: Develop financial and operational analytics that will measure business performance

 

Treasury: Be responsible for all insurance programs from health to error & omissions….be liaison to lenders…partner on attracting additional funding….forecast and manage cash….workers compensation……profit sharing and 401K administration

 

Licensing Agreements & Contracts: Administrate customer, vendor and employment contracts; partner with legal to expand operations in other states

 

Human Resources: be responsible for all HR functions (many of which need to be established)….this will include handbook, compensation, benefits, background checks, training (learning & development), performance management, employee relations, organizational planning, HR policies, etc.

 

Marketing: Will use 3rd parties initially and will coordinate services for website, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, advertising, etc.

 

Facilities Management/Real Estate: Be responsible for anything to do with office(s) including leases, parking, and maintenance.

 

Information Technology: Will look at potential upgrades in technology on a regular basis and leverage 3rd party resources for internet, mobile technology, CRM, and business related software….will ensure communication and security.

 

Purchasing: Will control all purchasing and vendor contracts

 

Be a strategic business partner and define milestones, goals, objectives, and deliverables.

 

REQUIREMENTS:   BS Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA wanted. Seek 10+ years of business experience with 6+ years of financial management experience. Ideal candidate has been in a successful entrepreneurial setting that expanded multi-state and had multiple P/Ls. Must have had experience with human resource, IT administration and investor relations. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED

 

REWARD:  $140,000 to $160,000 DOE plus bonus and in 2020 long term incentives
