over US entities with international operations and subsidiaries. Key responsibilities are as follows:
General and Operational Accounting: Perform general ledger functions for certain transactions like month end accruals, payroll and benefit related account reconciliation, fixed assets and depreciation schedule, intragroup operations (services, loans, financing). Prepare journal entries and analysis of account balances to support month end closing. Review all A/P and ensure expenses are allocated correctly to support P/L reporting. Complete account reconciliation, analysis and supporting schedules for G/L balance; maintain chart of accounts. Prepare daily cash reporting.
Month End / Quarterly Financial Closing: Prepare financial statements on monthly, quarterly and annual basis (P&L, BS). Prepare consolidated financial reporting for the group on a monthly basis (trial balance and eliminations, detailed schedules of balance sheet accounts, consolidated BS, income statement, CF and member's equity).
Budget & Financial Analysis: Prepare annual budgets for US entities and regular revisions (P&L, CF). Analyze actuals to budget and forecast to determine reasons for variances. Develop short term rolling forecasts on cash, revenues, and expenses. Partner with operations to provide financial data on capital expenditures, inventory management, purchase orders, and KPIs.
Projects & Other Functions: Be key liaison with external auditors and tax consultants. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Draft financial and reporting procedures. Review of vendor and customer contracts from financial perspective. Identify opportunities for process improvements.
