OPPORTUNITY: Expansion of Connecticut operations is being fueled by additional product lines being transferred to the Shelton area. You will be part of a talented team in a company that manufactures capital equipment sold to a wide range of businesses and has #1 market share in it's niche. You will:
· Analyze & troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with machines: electrical cables and wire harnesses; fabrication of sheet metal parts, troubleshooting technical issues, etc.
· Work on product documentation & manufacturing support for new products and product enhancements. Create documentation and assembly instructions; review operating manuals and spare part drawings; and support final product testing and QC checklists.
· Provide product support & repair: responding to inquiries from customers for technical support; analyze failures; assist with product repairs; provide service, repair, and training; and support product education.
REQUIREMENTS: AS degree is ideal, but not required; Seeking 4+ years of product testing within an engineering/manufacturing environment that produces quality products or capital equipment. Must have very good oral and written communication skills. Hands-on knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is important. Must be willing to do some limited travel.
REWARD: $55,000 to $70,000 plus excellent benefits and a great culture.
