VISIONOver last 7 years, this multi-plant manufacturer has doubled revenues through product ingenuity, customer and geographic expansion, and acquisitions. OPPORTUNITYReport to CFO and partner across all business segments. Have the responsibility for 12 in financial and operational accounting. Key responsibilities are as follows:

 

Financial Reporting: Company currently closes in 3.5 days; be responsible for flash forecasting and monthly close including commentary and KPIs. Ensure SOX compliance.

 

General Accounting: Manage accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and fixed assets. Partner with IT on the upgrade of current ERP software. Manage local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filings.

 

Operational Accounting: Supervise manufacturing and supply chain accounting; ensure inventory accuracy; partner with purchasing on vendor negotiations; team with product development on new product cost estimates; review all capital expenditures.

 

Budgets & Forecasting: Partner on annual budget development and analyze month end results to budget. Communicate across business to support and drive strategic initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  BS Accounting required; CPA or CMA ideal. Key is a proven Controller or Assistant Controller (5-10 years of experience) within a multi-plant manufacturing setting. Must have strong financial reporting, general and operational accounting, budgets, analysis, and forecasting skills. Most important is a proactive personality that internal leadership will view as a Financial Business Partner.

 

REWARD:  $130,000 to $150,000 plus 20% target bonus
