Lead corporate development activities and support the end-to-end transaction, including:
· Source, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and execute on new acquisitions and other strategic investments with emphasis on finance and legal.
· Develop and lead programs to grow, optimize and integrate acquired businesses including, as examples, key accounts plans, marketing plans, strategic HR initiatives, technology roadmaps, and cost saving initiatives – as well as developing and tracking KPIs.
· Research and evaluate potential new markets and companies, including strategic fit, market definition, sizing, segmentation, supply & demand drivers, trends, competitive assessments, and entry strategies.
· Prepare financial analytics and benchmarking relative to existing business activity, identifying opportunities for optimization and making recommendations for positive change.
REQUIREMENTS: BS required; CPA or MBA a plus. Seek 3-7 years of due diligence experience within a private equity, investment banking, national CPA firm or corporate roll-up. Must have experience in sourcing/lead generation, detail due diligence, and partnering on negotiations of acquisitions of business valued in the $1M to $50M size. Must be willing to travel 30% to 60% (depending on activity). No relocation offered or considered.
REWARD: $130,000 to $160,000 to start plus bonus, equity and upside potential
