VISION: Decentralized B2B with 50+ locations in North America and Europe. Role requires communications with vendors, regional leadership, accounting, and legal (vendor contracts). Company has had average annual compound growth of over 10% in the last decade and a strong history of internal promotions.
OPPORTUNITY: Opening due to promotion. This is an empowering environment requiring multi-tasking and strong project management skills to meet deadlines and commitments. Initial role will be as follows:
- 35-50% Partner on the purchasing of capital equipment, vehicles and large ticket items. This will include vendor contacts, state transfers, leases, rebates, and other administration
- 25-30% working with Concur on T&E administration (e.g. expense reporting, setting up & terminating employees; tracking expenses by project and/or site).
- 25-30% other supply chain and purchasing functions (e.g. electronic requests, purchase order administration, RFP requests, supporting regional purchasing managers; centralizing purchasing contracts))
This a 40 hour week role; be mentored and expand supply chain skills.
REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree required. Seek 3-6 years of purchasing experience within a multi-location manufacturer, distribution, or technology based B2B service setting. Must be interested in developing skill set and taking on additional responsibilities. Must have strong Excel skills and be willing to travel 5-10% domestically. No relocation considered.
REWARD: $70,000 to $85,000 DOE plus bonus, strong benefits and upside potential.
