The job posting and position description was one of the best that I have seen in my career of 30 years. When I read the posting I submitted my credentials immediately and received the initial call the next day. The initial telephone screen lasted about 30 minutes and the purpose of the call was to investigate the initial feasibility of my credentials compared to what the company was looking for. He informed me that the company strongly desired a Mechanical engineering background and my credentials indicated an Electrical engineering background, but he was impressed with my work experience and extensive management background. He decided to pursue me as a viable candidate regardless and we scheduled a SKYPE interview. The SKYPE interview was intensive, and B&B drilled deep down into my experience with electrical engineering, mechanical design, sensor experience and management experience. The information he shared with me on the status and direction of the company provide me with a very accurate understanding of the needs of the position and how the position fit into the strategic direction of the company. B&B submitted me as a candidate along with two other candidates who had the required ME background. He indicated that the ONICON staff initially only wanted to talk to the two ME candidates, but B&B advised them that they really should at least talk to me and they agreed to a telephone screen. I want to point out that most recruiters would not even have made the initial call to me based upon my EE background versus the required ME background. B&B READS resumes and go far deeper that key words in evaluating candidates for key positions. It was their insight, drill down expertise, and persistence that secured the initial telephone screen with ONICON. B&B has consultants with practical business experience that can validate technical backgrounds and determine viability.
