Better Informed Candidates

8/27/2021 by Bailey

Within a job market that is candidate rich, potential hires have options. Talented individuals are able to research heavily before targeting new companies to pursue. According to our experience, key motivators are company reputation and growth potential. Candidates can easily find information on management style, work life balance experiences, real opportunities for advancement, and general workplace culture. A company that has an established reputation for providing an employee focused environment and is communicative regarding objectives is attractive to potential candidates. Encouraging current team members to get the good word out can only help build better bridges to securing top talent for the company.

According to the following article from LinkedIn:

  • 92% would consider leaving their current jobs if offered another role with a company that had an excellent corporate reputation. (3BL ASSOCIATION)
  •  50% of candidates say they wouldn’t work for a company with a bad reputation – even for a pay increase. (BETTER TEAM)
  •  Nearly 80% of Millennials look for people and culture fit with employers, followed by career potential. (INC.COM)
